2024 Spring Clean Up
3/28/2024
Spring Brook Township will hold their annual Spring Clean Up event Saturday, May 18th, 2024 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. We will not be issuing paper permits again this year. Residents should bring their items to the Municipal Complex on the day of the event. Residents will be asked to provide their name and address. Meeting Agendas Now Available Online
9/7/2021
Beginning September 2021, in compliance with new requirements from the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors, Meeting Agendas will now be posted to the Springbrook Township website in advance of each meeting. Agendas are now available on the Meetings page.

Recycling Program Update

Covington Township’s Recycling Center has reopened after being closed due to the current pandemic. The Covington Township Recycling Center is located off of Route 435 in Daleville behind the Occhipinti Dance Company. The center is open only on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 7am—11am. Dumpsters are no longer available at any other time for drop-offs. They are only accepting the following items:
- Glass - bottles & jars (No lids & no broken glass)
- Aluminum & steel/tin cans (Throw away lids unless attached)
- Plastic—bottles & jars (No lids) i.e. milk, juice, water, cleaners, soda
- Newspaper, magazines, catalogs, phonebooks and brown bags
- Office paper (computer paper, mail, envelopes)
- Shredded paper (place in a clear plastic bag only)
- Cardboard boxes (heavy shipping boxes (All boxes must be flattened and bundled or placed inside a larger box)
Reminder: All glass, plastic, and cans must be empty of all food and liquid, then thoroughly rinsed out before recycling.

New Recycling Updates

Attention residents! The Covington Township Recycling Center will only be accepting drop off of recyclables on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. There is no longer an outside drop off location available for any materials. You will find below a list of acceptable items as well as a list of items that are no longer being accepted. All containers should be rinsed out. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we all adjust to the new guidelines.

2017 Christmas Tree Recycling and Curbside Pickup

We are hoping all of our residents are aware of our yard waste recycling program by now. We know that many of you take advantage of this program to dispose of your leaves, grass clippings, and brush. Are you aware that we also accept live Christmas trees?
This year as a service to our residents the Road Department will again be picking up live Christmas trees (not artificial trees) curbside. This service will be provided on Mondays in January 2018 on the following dates: January 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th.
All ornaments and decorations must be removed from trees prior to pickup. Trees must be curbside by 8:00 AM.

Yard Waste Recycling Program Updated
01/13/2016
As a service to Spring Brook Township residents, the Board of Supervisors have started a yard waste recycling program. Residents may drop off items in a designated area at the Spring Brook Township Municipal Complex located at 966 State Route 307. Acceptable items include: Christmas Trees, grass clippings, leaves, brush, shrubs and garden residue. We will not accept: stumps of any kind, construction materials, pressure treated lumber, plastic bags or containers. For hours of operation and additional information please download our new flyer.

Spring Brook Township Adopts 2015 Revised Comprehensive Plan

Board Adopts Ordinance Requiring a License for Peddling and Solicitation

The Spring Brook Township Board of Supervisors has adopted an ordinance (#2013-5) providing for the licensing and regulation of soliciting and peddling within the Township. Individuals or companies that desire to engage in peddling or soliciting within Spring Brook Township are required to obtain a license. The Supervisors encourage residents to ask peddlers / solicitors to present their license. For additional information you may view the full ordinance text by clicking here. Township Hires Second Inspection Agency
